Hayward Field Renovation

The University of Oregon commissioned CMGS as the primary consultant for the renovation of the infield at historic Hayward Field for the 2008 Olympic Track & Field Trials. The facility opened to rave reviews on March 22, 2008 for the Oregon Preview. On June 8, 2008, during the Prefontaine Classic, Brad Walker broke the American record in the pole vault (19'-9 3/4", 6.04m) on the reconstructed east pole vault runway. Historic Hayward Field will host the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Track & Field from June 27 - July 6.
